Excellent

Cool style and concept. Controls are a little clumsy, and the game is very hard. I wish the restart was quicker so that dying was less frustrating.

Nice game guys! Really interesting mechanic.

sometimes hitboxes are a bit glitchy; if you're walking into a wall sometimes you can't teleport to the other side. I'm pretty sure its whenever you're walking to the right (relative to your characters direction) and trying to go down, but it might happen in other scenarios too.

Also, the controls might be more intuitive if the direction was not relative to how the player is rotated. Right now if you want to walk down, but gravity is left, you have to press right. Instead pressing down could just walk down in that situation.

Yea, this is a banger.

First off, this game is super cool. The aesthetic, concept, and sound are all amazing, and really well pulled off, especially for a jam game.

Things I like:
Concept is super interesting
Sound + art is super good
Adaptive difficulty concept is cool

Things I dont like:

Not enough time to learn the mechanics
Im not sure this is a problem with the controls, the difficulty of the levels, the amount of time you have, or something else, but this game is HARD. If there were a few easier levels at the start it would be easier to get used to everything. Or maybe an easy mode with more time.

Slow restarts
On a few levels there are pits and other areas that if you fall into you are basically screwed. But you still have to play a bit will you wait for your inevitable doom. It would be better imo if stuff like this just instantly lost the level (maybe put spikes at the bottom?)

Also, this is a nitpick but i think it would make more sense for the menu to control with the keys you use to play the game, rather than the mouse. its a little confusing to have to use the mouse, and then switch to the keys when the game starts.

Thanks very much for your feedback, the game def turned out to be too difficult, mostly because of punishing time limits and as you said, not having much time to master the mechanics. And about the menus, yeah it's a good nitpick, I'll consider to finally try that for the first time somewhere)

Excellent game! really good design choices here, and the art and sound design are really cool too!
